The Eternal Power Of Our Presence
As we dissolve all sense of separation in our minds and sink back into the experience of oneness, we become fully present in the only time that exists - this present moment. As the exhausting veil of our separateness drops, we find the experience of this present moment is pregnant with beauty and love.
The world around us takes on the fundamental task of being our mandala, reflecting the illumination of our being. We look around us at our surroundings and see them shine. Our bodies, relieved of psychological suffering, naturally feel energised to explore and enjoy this moment, inspired by the life-affirming qualities of our being. Our being takes on the significance of our inner silent mantra that breathes light into this mandala that is the world.
The activities we carry out are "spiritualised" and become sacred – even what was previously mundane, and we find nourishment in the "super-ordinary" world around us. We deeply sense our environment, including living and non-living aspects breathes a metaphorical sigh of relief as it is relieved of the pressure of having to make us happy. This sign soon becomes a warm smile and then even joyful laughter as we allow ourselves to dance with the world around us, which we see as us and not separate from us.
Therefore, instead of feeling in a cage, we realise that the bars of seeing the world as separate from us have vanished as we realise we, consciousness, created this world and it is our "best friend". We were not born into it; it was born into us. Here there is no boredom, fear or shame about the past. There is only freedom to focus on the now — forgiveness and letting go of the past and positive unattached dreams flickering of a potential future. The eternal return to the now is as though we are reborn every moment – feel as psychologically afresh as the last. Even possibly more so as we keep on returning.
There is no dragging energy of lack caused by confining our soul to being a thought, bodily sensation, or object in any way. We bravely allow ourselves to break free of the cultural grip of a society of separateness that has forgotten how to be happy and that tells us we "should", "ought to", and "must" pay attention to these objects as our life depends on it and we will be happy when it is organised well enough, and woe betides us if we fail. Instead of trusting those fearful, limiting beliefs that have led to an endless culture of psychological suffering that insists abundance lies in the achievement of things, we courageously decide to trust the freedom of our abundant presence. In so doing, we prove to ourselves that this trust in our abundant super-ordinary presence that impels us to follow what we are called to do for the sake of love, understanding and beauty is always rewarded. Instead of seeing our lives fall apart as we were led to believe, they build with a firm foundation of love, unity, understanding and beauty.
